Dr. Jenkins is a graduate of the University of Delaware, whe
re he received his degree in Nutritional Science and the University of Bridgeport where he received his Chiropractic degree.
Not only is Dr. Jenkins a board certified chiropractor in the in the state of Connecticut, but due to his passion for life and health, he has been through advanced training from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds the distinguished certification of Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Jenkins has advanced education in Maternity and Pediatric care and is certified in the Webster technique and recognized for this specialty by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Society for Weight Training Injury Specialists (two elite organizations that focus on health and the maximum performance of the human body). He is considered by his peers to be an expert in the areas of human health and performance and is the author of the Fitness Leadership degree program at Norwalk Community College where he is also a professor in the Biology, Nursing and Fitness departments.
As part of his dedication to teaching, Dr. Jenkins is the local representative for the prestigious Foundation for Wellness Professionals, Inc., a National Not-For-Profit Organization, comprised of health care providers who volunteer to educate their communities on wellness and disease prevention.
His skills have been utilized in private practice, on the medical team at the New York City Marathon, and as the team physician for both Norwalk Community College and the Northern Raiders Rugby Team. He is currently the team Chiropractior for the CT Giants football team. In his clinic in Milford he is trusted to care for infants, adults and seniors and to help them live healthy, happy lives well into their golden years.
